"We purchased a Rosie in late October. It seems to be female and recently (4 or 5 days) stopped eating. She spread web all over the tank and especially near the entrance to her burrow. She seemed to really be eating a lot just prior to this. I was expecting a molt, but two days ago she completely sealed off the burrow. She dug a little deeper into the burrow so in curiosity I got out a flash light and to our shock there is a large egg sack. She keeps herself wrapped around it and is very thin now. Is this possible that she could have mated three months ago and is just now producing an egg sack? "
