My scopa just died. Had it for about 1 week. He was ok but never ate. Yesterday when I closed the light, I noticed my sailfin tang was constantly attacking him once the lights were closed. I can't say if it was a first but I'm guessing he didn't like to share 74g with him. Ah well, I'll have to be careful what fish I get with the sailfin unless it was just random behavior.

I love my two tone tang, however I only had him for one month, and I am really stressing
because he has ich, I've been using ich-x, and changing 20% of my water everyday for the last 4 days. He has periods where he looks really good and then several hours later, he look like he's on his death bed. I don't want to lose him, and I don't know what else to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I purchased a wrasse cleaner fish to clean up my yellow tang; my two tone tang was the first fish to let the wrasse clean him. Now all the fish in my tank line up for a clean - the wrasse also cleaned up my yellow tang who had a film over his eye (it let the wrasse clean his eye). Perhaps the wrasse could fix the ich problem. Also, the wrasse eats algae and nori plus the parasites etc off the fish.

Ich is difficult to get rid of.

    1. Slowly lower and control your salinity.
    2. Control your H20 temperature with small fans or a chiller,
    3. For marine fish I use Kent Garlic Extreme very stinky and high in allicin Soak veggie foods for 5 min before feeding and once a day i drop 1 drop per 10 gallons total volume. The ich usually retreats in 5 or less days.

Very beautiful fish - the picture doesn't do it justice. You have to look up close to appreciate all the fine detail on this fish. Definitely needs a long tank (4ft length) in order for them to be happy. Access to thin gracilaria is another plus!
